We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2025, at the age of 90, Clarence Edward Barker of Clayton, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, C. W. Barker and Bertha Barker; his son Eric Joseph Barker; and his siblings, Carlton and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Belflower Barker; his children, Eddie Barker (Debi Ledford), Billy Barker and Jackie Barker (Paul Monroe); his grandchildren, William Barker (Jess), Kaylie Barker (Josh Walsh), Eric Barker (Allison), Dustin Monroe (Emily) and Sherri McCracken (Russ); and his siblings, Alvin (Ellen), Marshall and Jerry Barker (Gayle). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions honoring Ed may be made to Rabun Gap Presbyterian Church or to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
