He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dewitt Smith Hill and Bessie Carter Hill; his wife Hilda Smith Hill; his sons, Don Hill (Carol) of Commerce and Dean Hill (Elizabeth) of Aurora, CO; his grandchildren, Alexis, Jake, Lydia, Sara, Isaac, Carrie, Jared, Liberty, Elijah, Sophie, Carissa and Micah; and his great grandchild Kobe.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12th at 2:00 PM from Grey Hill Cemetery with Rev. Blake Carter and Rev. Verlin Reece officiating, In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Shoebox Fund at Mt. Olive Baptist Church: P.O. Box 37 Commerce, GA 30529.
