It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Winton NeSmith in Claxton, Georgia, born in Statesboro, Georgia, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winton NeSmith and Evelyn Todd NeSmith; and his brother Daryl NeSmith. He is survived by: his wife Donna Gale NeSmith; his children, Daniel NeSmith and Maria Oliver (Mark); his granddaughters, Madison NeSmith, Mia Oliver, Susannah NeSmith, Margo Oliver, Lalie NeSmith and Maggie Wren NeSmith; his sister Patsy Herring; and his sister-in-law Mary NeSmith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Claxton First Church (401 W Main St, Claxton, GA 30417). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
