With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Winselle McCorkle Hearn (Claxton, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlie McCorkle and Katie McCorkle (Charles). She is survived by: her son Randy; her siblings, Carlyle and Kathryn; her children, Chuck (Elena), Grace Anners Vidalia (Mark) and Mitch (Rosie); her brother-in-law Ray Westberry of Savannah, GA; and her close friends, Evelyn Maltruss, Iris Sims, Marga Cowart and Yolanda Todd. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home (513 W Main St, Claxton, GA 30417). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Nesmith Funeral Home (513 W Main St, Claxton, GA 30417).
