With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney Ronald Gibbs of Claxton, Georgia, who passed away on December 26, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Anna Gibbs; his parents, John Adolph Gibbs and Ella Grace Fuller Gibbs; and his brothers, James Gibbs, Ben Gibbs and Bobby Gibbs.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gibbs of Claxton; his children, Lisa McDonough (Paddy) of Newport, John Gibbs (Jan Morton) of Claxton, Brandie Coley (Chris) of Claxton and Betsy Randall (Foy) of Claxton; his grandchildren, Justin Tygart (Elizabeth), Anthony Tygart (Valerie), Patrick Tygart (Dena), Percy Randall, Harper Randall, Colby Kirkland, Carsyn Coley, Caedyn Coley, Ryan Spach and Kaitlin Geddes (Jared); and his great grandchildren, Slade, Emma, Reyna, Cheyenne, Killian and Wyatt.
