He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Lott and Myrtle Lott; his wife Martha Blocker Lott; and his siblings, Garland Lott, Thurmond Lott, Joe Lott, Henry Lott, Hinton Lott, Mary Lott Cosson and Lucille Lott.
He is survived by: his children, Sammy Lott (Cindy) of Bellville, Kirk Lott of Reidsville and Pama Caraway (Andy) of Bellville; his siblings, Rudy Lott (Marie) of Benton City, Dorothea Taylor of Claxton, Ruby Hodges of Claxton, Nannette Hutcheson of Claxton and Betty McCoy of Bloomingdale; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Chad, David, Jared, Kyle Lott, Derek and Andrea Caraway. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
