With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Owens of Claxton, Georgia, who passed away on May 21, 2021 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Owens and Ida Owens of Tybee Island; and his sister Julie Owens. He is survived by: his children, Leslie Owens Monson (Christian) of New Orleans, LA and Silas Anthony Strickland of Claxton, GA.; and his siblings, Manson Owens (Lucia) of Richmond Hill, GA, Ruth Parsons (Michael) of Statham, GA, Lucy Groover, Mary Jane Paul (Mike) of Augusta, GA and Nancy Carbo (Mike). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances are requested to be sent to Benedictine Military School in his name.
