He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Thornburg and Betty Jean Buchanan. He is survived by: his sons, Clinton Thornburg (Anna) of Claxton, GA and Richard E. Phelps of California; his sister Diane Manning of California; and his grandchildren, Dakota, Audrey and William. He is also survived by his family and friends.
