He is survived by: his wife Nelia Talley; his son James Allen Talley (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Emma, Lacey, Achaia, Justus and Jax; and his siblings, Faye Griner, Mickey Talley, Joyce Bebee and Christine Cunningham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
