Waters (Claxton, Georgia), born in Hortense, Georgia, who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Moody and Fronie Dowling Moody; her spouses, Lorin Waters and Lonzo Griffin; her son Eric Engstrom; and her grandson Benjamin Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Griffin (Kellie), Shelby Griffin (Jill), Stephen Griffin (Gay), Stephanie Wilson (Dennis), Shelia Dean (Tom), Rex Engstrom, Jamille E. Sergent, Sally Moncrief (Phillip) and Kenn Waters (Chuck); her siblings, Vera Harrel, Geraldine Branch, Lavonne Sellers (Buddy), Jerry Moody (Ruby) and Terry Moody (Debbie); and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Anderson, Loleen Haire, Martha Haire, Vera Blocker, Hazel Lee, Corene Lewis (James), Josie Griffin and Coleman Griffin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
