He was predeceased by: his parents, James Raleigh Waters (Dick) and Melrose Todd Waters; and his brother Harvey. He is survived by: his wife Laura Strickland Waters; his children, James Waters (Cynthia) of Register, Michael Waters (Carla) of Glennville and Melissa Waters of Claxton; his stepdaughter Avis Peek (Michael) of Lyons; and his siblings, Lewis Waters (Dianne) of Claxton and Ann Oliver of Hagan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
