It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Odom Richey of Claxton, Georgia, born in Evans, Georgia, who passed away on August 19, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph H. Richey (Joe); her son Samuel Keith Richey (Sammy); her parents, Willie Odom and Lamora Odom; and her brother Hiram Odum.

She is survived by: her son Danny Richey (Nancy) of Claxton; her grandchildren, Jennifer Tanner of Long Island, NY and Daniel Richey (Kayla) of Charlotte, NC; her great grandchildren, Jacob Tanner, Owen Tanner and Amelia Richey; and her siblings, Mary Grosse and Billy Odom. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE OBSERVED DURING THE VISITATION AND CHAPEL SERVICE, DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
