She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Sapp and Henry McKnight; and her sister Everlina Carey. She is survived by: her daughter Helen Handsom (Larry); her siblings, Brenda Roberts (Bobby) of Claxton, Richard Sapp of College Park, Robert Sapp (Patricia) of Claxton, Georgia and Harry Sapp of Claxton, Georgia; her niece Hilda Boston (Tom) of Augusta; and her nephew Norman Harper (Lola) of Waco, Texas.. She is also survived by grandchildren: thirteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, and eight (one on the way) great-great-grandchildren.
