He was predeceased by: his wife Bobbie Jean Lott Fields; his son Frankie Fields; his parents, Frank W. Fields and Bessie Lanier Fields; his siblings, Joe T. "Gene" Fields, Reuben "Punch" Fields, Foy "Bubba" Fields (Ruth) and Willene Beasley (Otis); and his half-sisters, Thelma Jenkins and Mary Collins.
He is survived by: his grandson Frank Fields (Amanda) of Lake Mary; his sisters, Geneva F. Stephens and Freida Bulloch (Carter); and his sisters-in-law, Karen Fields and Stella Fields. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
