He was predeceased by: his son Glenn Ricky Colson; his parents, Leroy Colson, Sr. and Ollie Bradley Colson; and his brother Leroy Colson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Martha Easterling Colson of Claxton; his children, Wendell Colson (Lynette) of Ludowici and Vicki Colson of Claxton; his siblings, Floyd Colson (Elaine) of Ohio and Lutrelle McCorkle of Claxton; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Mitchell (Kerry), Brittany Simmons (Jeremy), Tiffany Colson, Jacob Jarriel, Ethan Colson (Allee) and Dylan Colson. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
