He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Luther Hall and Ethel Hall of Floyd County, Georgia.; and his siblings, James Hall, Lester Hall and Nola Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Myrle Hall; his children, Gregory Payne, Jody Crim of Ooltewah, Donna and Randy Mayfield of Claxton, Georgia; his grandchildren, Dr. Sarah Payne, Chris Jones of Ooltewah, Abbey Mayfield of Grovetown, Allison and Devin Thompson of Brooklet, Georgia; his great grandchildren, Noah, Scarlett Thompson and Abel Mayfield; and his sisters, Jewell Formby of Aragon and Ozell Williams of Lindale, Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
