She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder Willie Clifton Ealey, Sr. and Mertice Eason Ealey; and her sister Inell Pough Byrd. She is survived by: her husband Richard Larry Rhymes, Sr.; her son Richard Larry Rhymes, Jr. (Crenese); her grandchildren, Byron Ryhmes of Collins, Orenthial Rhymes of Collins and Shirley Bowles (Kenny) of Hinesville, Georgia; her siblings, Naomi Richardson of Tampa, Daisy Anthony of Miami, Florida and Willie Ealey, Jr. (Dorothy) of Savannah, Georgia; her sisters-in-law, Greta Morrison of Boston, Idella Roberts of Jacksonville and Willie Rose of Savannah, Georgia; her nieces and nephews, Thomas Ealey, Robert Anthony and Gracie Hall (Clarence); her godchildren, Deondre, Butler and Jalean Sanders; her great-nephew Brian Sanders; and her cousin Rev. Brenda Nobles-Brown. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
She served as secretary of the Wilkerson Cemetery Foundation Fund of Collins and also the East Collins Community Center.
