He is survived by: his spouse Martha Josephine Johnson of Pembroke; and his children, Robert, Byron, Susan, Carmen Nelson, Allyson, Barbara, Nelson Gabriel Usry, Natalie Lanier, Spencer, Leyton and Aaron Keady. He is also survived by his parents and by two siblings.
