He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leonard and Francis England Willis; and his brother William "Bill" Leonard Willis. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Conley Willis of Claxton; his stepsons, Curtis Gary Leggett Jr. (Emily) of Rincon and Justin Matthew Doppel (Morgan) of Pooler; his grandchildren, Bonnie Willis and Alexis Rigdon (Matt); and his nieces, Sally and Donna Willis of Atlanta.
