It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Byron Lee Nelson (Claxton, Georgia), born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha J Nelson and Charles R Nelson of Claxton. He is survived by: his wife Patrice Hammock Nelson of Claxton; and his siblings, Robert C Nelson (Susan) of Pembroke, GA, Barbara Nelson Lanier of Savannah, GA and Susan Nelson Keady (Jeff) of Thomaston, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
