It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan McNeese of Claxton, Georgia, born in Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Max McNeese and Hazel Driggers; his daughter Kelly McNeese Olliff; and his brothers, Max McNeese and James "Buster" Bullins.

He is survived by: his significant other Karen Miller McNeese of Claxton; his children, Kalan McNeese (Seraphina Morrison) of Pooler, Taylor Coley of Lawrenceville, Karla McNeese of Claxton and Kymberli Atkinson of Statesboro; his grandchildren, Raelyn Olliff of Glennville and Karsen Eason of Statesboro; his brother Brian Keith McNeese of Oklahoma; his parents-in-law, Rex and Kathy Miller of Statesboro; and his brother-in-law Kevin Miller (Betsy) of Savannah.

Memorials may be given to Claxton Fire Department, 204 West Railroad Street, Claxton, GA 30417.
