He is survived by: his wife Nita; his children, William Edward Spence Jr. (Jayne) and Chrischel Spence Ramsey (Hunter); his granddaughter Jessica Spence Massey (Joe); his great grandchild Piper; his granddaughter Sara Anne Spence Allen (Kaylob); his daughter Ellianna Lea; his sister Carolyn Spence Holbrook Scott; and his brother-in-law W. Howell Barnette. He is also survived by many cousins and other family members.
