He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Owens and Gladys Woods Owens; and his brother Kenneth Warren Owens. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Franklin Owens of Mt. Airy; his daughters, Kami Owens Ferguson (Greg) of Cornelia and Kelley Owens Kelley of Charleston, SC; and his brothers, Tommy Louis Owens of Simpsonville, SC and Ellis Vaughn Owens (Jane) of North Augusta, SC. He is also survived by four grandchildren, one great grandchild.
