It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Dodgen of Clarkesville, Georgia, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lee and Rosa Mae Ogle Dodgen; and his siblings, Fred Lee Dodgen, Jr., James Luther Dodgen and Carolyn Hogsed.
He is survived by: his son Scout; his wife Ginger Smith Dodgen of Clarkesville; his daughter Darlene; his son-in-law Ted Smith of Clarkesville; his son Randy; his daughter-in-law Brandi Dodgen of Clarkesville; his grandchildren, Ted Smith, Jr., Makayla Allen, Josh, Matt Shepherd, Amber, Kelley Shepherd, Lauren Pittman, Nick and Dylan Harris; his great grandchildren, Addy, Savannah, Ashtin, Little Jack, Jayden, Trycen, Kasen, Kash and Lyla Belle; his sister Regina Horadan; his brother-in-law Eric; his sister Helen Hilsman; and his sister-in-law Hilda Dodgen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Due to the current concerns with COVID-19, Private Graveside Services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Tommy to the Future Growth Fund of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
