She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harrison Cheek and Vera Inez Ward Cheek; her husband Bruce Scott; her siblings, Ralph (Flora Mae), Eugene (Mildred), Clyde (Julie), Lloyd, Jewell (Marietta), Wilton Dewey (Mary Judith), Roy J., Howard Cheek, Corine Pless (James) and Bertie Mae Fitzgerald; and her siblings-in-law, Violet, Harold Walker, Hoyt and Jewell Scott.
She is survived by: her daughter Julia Cecilia Collins; her grandson Adam Lovell; and her sister-in-law Faye Cheek. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
