He is survived by: his children, Gary (Valerie Hackney), Mark (Beth Hackney) and Kathy; his son-in-law Jim Booth of Clarkesville, GA; and his siblings, Verna Mae Gamble, Mitchell (Jane Hackney) and William (Cynthia Hackney). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
