She was predeceased by: her parents, John Owenby and Minnie Owenby (Ramey); her former husband James Chastain (late James Waldrup); her son Junior Chastain; and her sisters, Ruth Plott, Ruby Burrell and Rea Owenby.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Goetchius and Glen Chastain (Grace). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
