He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jewart and Freda Carson Jewart; and his brother-in-law Donnie Elder. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Schaeffer Jewart of Clarkesville; his daughter Carolyn; his son-in-law Jake Misencik of Warner Robins; his daughter Courtney Jewart of Stow, OH; his grandchildren, Seth Randall Jewart of Stow, OH, Carson Misencik of Warner Robins, Avery Misencik of Warner Robins and Trent Misencik of Warner Robins; his brother Gary; his sister-in-law Barbara Jewart of Curwensville, PA; and his sister Coleen Elder of Dayton, PA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Whitfield Funeral Home and Crematory- North Chapel (245 US-441, Baldwin, GA 30535). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scholarship Fund through Cornelia Masonic Lodge, 540 Level Grove Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531 or to the Masonic Children's Home, 1417 Nottingham Dr, Macon, GA 31211.
