He was predeceased by: his brother Jeff David Hollifield; and his grandparents, Jeff T., Lucille Segars Lewallen and Stockton Hollifield Gunn. He is survived by: his parents, Douglas F. Hollifield and Carol Jane Lewallen Hollifield of Clarkesville; and his cousin Donald Gary Wood (Beth).

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery (6396 New Liberty Rd, Clarkesville, GA 30523).
