It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ruby McClain (Clarkesville, Georgia), born in Habersham, Georgia, who passed away on April 12, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Wooten and Lydia Smith Wooten; her husband James "Harold" McClain; her son Jerel McClain; and her siblings, Raymond Wooten, Ted Wooten, Jean Bennett, Ruth Davis, Christine Wooten and Ovilene Wooten.
She is survived by: her children, James McClain of Dahlonega, Jerry McClain of Elberton, Janice Rogers of Hiawassee, Joan Key of Clarkesville and June Waters of Clarkesville; and her sister Hazel Poole of Clarkesville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
