With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margie McCollum of Clarkesville, Georgia, born in Habersham, Georgia, who passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alvin and Maude Chambers Skelton; and her siblings, Lewis Skelton, Flossie Black and Dot Edwards.

She is survived by: her husband Johnnie G. McCollum of Clarkesville; her daughters, Brenda (Jim Briggs) and Jorie (Ron Stephens); her grandsons, Kevin Briggs (Erin) and Martin Briggs (Molly); and her great grandchildren, Winstin and Austin.

Due to the concerns involving COVID-19, Private Family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sharing and Caring, P.O. Box 194, Clarkesville, Georgia 30523 in Honor of Marg or to the Habersham Co. Animal Shelter in Memory of Mrs. Margie McCollum.
