He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Paul and Louise Virginia Matthews Murray; his grandchildren, Jason Kelley and Bobbie Jo Kelley; and his siblings, Vernon, Donny, Dan Murray, Brenda Carter and Fay Nell Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Lorene Gerrin Murray of Clarkesville; his children, Martha Carnes (Roger) of Tiger, Rev. Austin Kelley (Cynthia) of Clarkesville, Michael Kelley of Clarkesville and Anthony Kelley of Clarkesville; his brother Billy Murray of Toccoa; and his nieces and nephews, Sabrina Ayers, Teresa Keller, Steve Carter and Gerald Carter. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
