It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Coker of Clarkesville, Georgia, born in Demorest, Georgia, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Coker and Dallas Ellen Taylor Coker; his wife Norma Jean Hester Coker; and his brothers, Jerry Coker and Freddie Coker.
He is survived by: his daughter Teri Chambers Rice; his son-in-law Mark Rice of Dallas, GA; his grandson Josh Rice of Dallas, GA; and his sisters, Ellen (Roger Wilkes) and Annette (David Eller). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
