He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Richard and Pearl Smith Banks; and his sister Betty Sue Dyer. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Davidson Banks of Clarkesville, GA; his daughters, Missy (Duell Ledford) and Crystal (Derrick Bartlett); his grandchildren, Brooke, Robert Stephens, Grant Ledford, Nolan Bartlett, Cody Bartlett and Sawyer Bartlett; his sisters, Linda (Jeff Stephens) and Janelle (Randell); and his brother-in-law Jerry Dyer of Joliet, MT. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, & a host of friends.
