He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Patterson and Hazel Kilby Patterson; and his brother Homer Ritchie. He is survived by: his children, Randy "Goob" Porterfield (Brenda), Stacy Porterfield of Lakemont, Anthony Kenneth Ritchie (Michelle) of Clarkesville, Kenneth Lamar "Scooter" Ritchie, II of Clarkesville, Chanson N. Porterfield of Clarkesville, Sherri Brooks Aldridge (Peter) of Toccoa, Kelley Michelle Brooks Brock of Clayton and Sabrina Jacqueline Ritchie Hendrix (Bobby) of Lawrenceville; and his siblings, Danny Ritchie (Annette) of Kansas City, Kanas, Tom Ritchie (Linda), Sue York (John) of Alabama, Patsy Webb of Seneca, Gail Speed of Clayton and Ann Patterson of Seneca. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
