She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Mae and Dorothy Loudermilk Lathan; and her husband H. L. Kastner, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Hal (Cindy Kastner) and William (Cathy Kastner); her sisters, Hilda (Roy Kastner) and Krista (Roy Collins); and her grandchildren, Dennis Kastner, Riley Kastner, Daniel Kastner, Levi Kastner and Morgan Kastner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillside Memorial Chapel (5495 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at the Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (243 Hazel Creek Church Rd, Mt Airy, GA 30563).
