We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2024, at the age of 73, Joe Robert Brooks of Clarkesville, Georgia, born in Tiger, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. R. Brooks and Rose Mary Jenkins Brooks; and his former wife Myrtis P. Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Brooks; his children, Joe Brooks Jr. (Carmen), Melissa Brooks, Jennifer Brooks Bentley (Eric), Jaime Brooks, Janet Brooks Brewer (Keith), Jerry Speed (Beth) and Michael Speed; and his brothers, Jerry Brooks and Johnny Brooks. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
