He is survived by: his wife Sandy Thompson Turner of Clarkesville; his children, Kent (Courtney Foskey), Michael (Jessica Turner), Krystal Phasavang of Clarkesville and Austin; his daughter-in-law Megan Turner of Clarkesville; his daughter Macie; his son-in-law Wes Payne of Toccoa; his son Harley; his daughter-in-law Erin Turner of Clarkesville; his grandchildren, Merinda Oxner, Jason Goss, Justin Goss, Connor Wilson, Blake Turner, Gracie Ann Foskey, Weston Foskey, Allie Phasavang, Ethan Phasavang, River Armour, Chase Payne, Ridge Segers, Walker Payne, Skyler Belangia, Kameron Turner, Stetson Turner and Breiglon Turner; his great grandchildren, Lola Jean Oxner and Jaxson Oxner; his niece Jennifer Turner; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Turner Chastain and Ellie Chastain; and his pets, Smokey Joe, Polly Ray, Sallie Mae and Theo.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Whitfield Funeral Home and Crematory- North Chapel (245 US-441, Baldwin, GA 30535). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
