He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wilburn Johnson and Edith Tench Johnson; and his sister Sylvia Johnson Holcomb. He is survived by: his sons, James Richard Johnson (Lisa Kendig) of Culleoka, TN, Timothy Christopher Johnson of Braselton and Michael Chadwick Johnson (Celeste) of Clayton; his close friend Annamaria Fennell of Clarkesville; his siblings, Francis Marion "Frank" Johnson of Duluth, Thomas Boyd Johnson (Tonya) of Butler, MS and Bertha Lou Johnson Smith of Clarksville, TN; and his grandchildren, Michael Chadwick Johnson, Jr., Thomas James Johnson and Elizabeth Estelle Johnson.
