He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred A. Hamilton and Susie Martin Hamilton; his wife Nancy Ann Canup Hamilton; his sons, Jimmy Hamilton and Michael Hamilton; his great grandchildren, Liam and Evelyn Gosnell; his sisters, Ellen Elsen, Helen "Birdie" May and Lexie "Tex" Burns; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Kimbrell, Kay Ricketson and Sammy Canup.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Jessica Ann (Jonathan Gosnell) of Maysville, GA; his sisters, Lessie "Tess" Franklin of Clarkesville, GA and Dorothy Tart of Clarkesville, GA; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Ward of Toccoa, GA, Susie Singleton of Eastanollee, GA, Camella Brown of Baldwin, GA, Bill Canup of Clarkesville, GA, Calvin Canup of Clarkesville, GA, Tippy Canup of Clarkesville, GA and Stevie Canup of Clarkesville, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, & a host of friends.
