He was predeceased by: his parent James Howard. He is survived by: his parent Jimmie Ruth Watkins Edwards; his wife Patricia Steinmeyer Edwards of Clarkesville; his daughter Kelly Elizabeth of Demorest; his children-in-law, Jerry Taylor of Demorest, Richard Eric, Linda Edwards of Clarkesville, Samuel Brent and Kerry Edwards of Clarkesville; his siblings, Ralph Donald of Winder and Alice Nedra Jackson of Social Circle; his grandchildren, Megan Edwards Brown (Reggie), Trevor Eric Edwards (Jennifer), Mallory Erin Edwards and Sara McCall Coleman; his great grandchildren, Miles, Charlotte, Norah Jane Brown and Walker Edwards; his stepgrandchildren, Clint Radney and Tracy Long; and also Lynda Edwards of Winder. He is also survived by several other step grandchildren, as well as a number of step great grandchildren.
