It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hoyt Richard Sanders of Clarkesville, Georgia, born in Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sanders and Anna Hodgins Sanders; his daughter Kaye Benfield; and his siblings, Bentley, Nelson, Talvern Sanders, Delores Sutton and Maggie Hancock.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Sanders; and his children, Tina Burke (Skip), Scott Sanders (Kathy), Jason Sanders (Rhonda) and Steve Sanders. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
