He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Hyman V. and Maudie Barrett Moss; his siblings, James Moss and Ora Lee Moss Taylor; and his nephews, Jacky Taylor and Nathan Coker.
He is survived by: his brother David; his sister-in-law Becky Moss of Demorest; his nieces and nephews, Anthony Taylor of Baldwin, Derek Moss, Seth Moss of Demorest, Tammy Black of Leeds, Ala and Susan Taylor of Clayton; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauran Taylor Standridge (Brent) of Lula, Yazzmine Taylor of Mt. Airy, Charlie Wood of Leeds, Ala, Nathan Taylor (Kristy) of Mt. Airy and Natasha Taylor of Hendersonville; and also, Harper Blake Standridge of Lula and Kylie Taylor of Mt. Airy.
