He is survived by: his mother Irene Franklin Swaim of Cornelia; his wife Dee Whisenant Swaim of Clarkesville; his stepson Wesley Couter of Clarkesville; his sisters, Renee (Eddie Herring) and Kristi (Jason Lewallen); his mother-in-law Catherine Whisenant of Clarkesville; his brother-in-law Evan Whisenant (Casie) of Clarkesville; his nieces and nephews, Alex Herring (Megan), Abby Gay (Cody), Shanna Lewallen, Violet Whisenant and Dylan Whisenant; his extended family, Jimmy and Nancy Welborn; and also, Preston and Peyton. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
