With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fay Bryant of Clarkesville, Georgia, who passed away on March 26, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Fay may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Fay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delma C. Gardner and Dottie Ree Strickland Gardner; and her daughter Melissa Burgess. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Bryant of Clarkesville; her children, Derek Burgess (Brandi) of Forsyth, Tim Burgess of Cordele and Michelle Burgess of Toccoa; her stepchildren, Tim Bryant (Candace) of Lake Butler and Jennifer Blevins of Moorehead; and her siblings, Johnny Gardner (Betty) of Valdosta, Joyce Benton of Moultrie and Latrelle Burkholder of Valdosta. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous cousins.
