She was predeceased by: her parent Oliver John; her husband John Calvin Adams; and her sisters, Hazel Hooper, Gertrude Smith and Eunice Allen.

She is survived by: her parent Ella Smith Wood; her children-in-law, Rebecca Goss Webb (Bobby) of Clarkesville, Cynthia Adams Ivey (Ben) of Seneca, Calvin Adams (Diana) of Dalton, Tommy Adams (Janet) of Mt and Airy; and her sisters, Pauline Morrison, Lougene Wall of Clarkesville and Katrina Robertson of Baldwin. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
