He is survived by: his wife Darlena Whitmire Church of Clarkesville; his son Kevin; his daughter-in-law Tonya Wright Church of Clarkesville; his daughter Kelly C.; his son-in-law Adam Edwards of Flowery Branch; his grandchildren, Meredith, Emily Church and Connor Edwards; his brother Alfred Michael "Mike" Church of Dahlonega; and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Sims of Clarkesville, Joy and Charles Dixon of Clarkesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
