She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Russell; her children, Allan Russell, Jr. and Brenda Russell; and her parents, James Griffin and Ola Dover Griffin of Banks County, Georgia..
She is survived by: her daughters, Khalilah (Dawud) and Cathlyn (Leon); and her grandchildren, Sulaiman, Pekota, Mukkaramah, Ethridge, Hakim and Mikal.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Zion Baptist Church (168 Davis Pl, Clarkesville, GA 30523). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
