It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Lovell of Clarkesville, Georgia, born in Hayesville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Smith and Mary Smith (Neal); her siblings, Ellen Patterson, Jane Elliott, Grover Smith and Sonny Smith; and her husband Tommy Alan Lovell.
She is survived by: her daughter Alison Watkins of Clarkesville, GA; her grandchildren, Kyle and Alexis Smith; and her great grandchild Lukas Carter Smith. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
