With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Diane Chapman of Clarkesville, Georgia, born in Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Tench and Fannie Elrod Tench; and her siblings, Jerry Tench, Barbara Hellard and Virginia Thompson.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry E. Chapman of Clarkesville; her sons, Jeffery Clark of Turnerville and David Clark of Athens; and her brother Johnny Tench of Dahlonega. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
